The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Police, in absentia reported suspicion of three servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation involved in the murder of civilians during the temporary occupation of the Kyiv region in 2022.

Among the suspects is the 35-year-old captain Timur Tamazov, the commander of the 76th Airborne Division of the Russian Federation (Pskov). According to the investigation, on February 27, 2022, he ordered the shooting of civilians who tried to evacuate near the village of Zdvizhivka. On the same day, the Russian military opened fire on a minibus of a construction company near Borodyanka, resulting in two people killed, two more were seriously injured.
The second suspect is 23-year-old Vladimir Osipov, a serviceman of the 64th Separate Rifle Brigade of the 35th Army of the Russian Federation, who shot two residents of Gostomel on March 28, 2022.
The third-48-year-old Alexey Abramov, commander of the company of the same brigade, who during the occupation of the village of Ivankiv ordered to torture the civilian population and made “shot lists” of representatives of Ukrainian resistance.
All three Russians have been suspected of violating the laws and customs of war, which caused the death of people (Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
