The SBU has accused 8 former and valid officials

The Security Service of Ukraine accused the former and current officials of the State Enterprise “Document” of stealing funds during a full -scale war. It is reported that the case file shows that more than 21 million hryvnias were appropriated during 2022-2023, and the scheme was organized in the SBU, which is involved in eight former and real officials of SE “Document”, among which three are representatives of the governing level.

“During their posting after the start of a full -scale war, they established a criminal mechanism for obtaining money from their subordinates. For this purpose, the persons involved organized the accrual of “double” salaries to employees of the central office of the state enterprise, who were sent to the branch of the passport service in the neighboring EU country. According to the investigation, one salary was received by employees in Ukraine, the other – on a foreign bank card for fictitious services. Employees who received double wages transferred some of these funds to the organizers of the criminal scheme in the form of “rollbacks”, – the message reads.

The SBU noted that the mentioned eight persons were informed of the suspicion of the article “Stocking or seizing property through abuse of office”, the investigation continues, the suspect threatens up to eight years in prison.

The names of the defendants in the Security Service have not been given, their comments are not yet. The Document, which produces documents for Ukrainians, was also not commented.
