The SBU exposed the company that supplied materials for the nuclear laboratories of the Russian Federation

An enterprise in the Dnipropetrovsk region was exposed, which contributed to the construction of laboratories for the development of nuclear weapons on the territory of a terrorist country. This is reported by the Security Service of Ukraine, transmits UNN.

According to the investigation, the owner of the company engaged in the production of construction materials organized the supply of products to the Russian Federation even after the start of the full-scale invasion. In particular, a large batch of stainless steel profiles was sent to the aggressor. These products were used to equip office premises at the Russian Institute of Nuclear Research, where new models of nuclear-tipped missiles are being developed.

In order to hide the supply routes, the goods were first delivered to the company in one of the countries of the Middle East, and from there they were shipped to Russian customers. The key role in the financial scheme was played by the chief accountant of the Ukrainian enterprise, who kept records of both the domestic company and its foreign partner.

During the searches of the company’s premises and the residences of the accused, law enforcement officers seized mobile devices, computer equipment and documentation confirming criminal activity in favor of the aggressor state.

At this moment, four participants of the scheme, including the owner of the enterprise, have been notified of suspicion under the article on aiding and abetting an aggressor state. Investigators initiate the selection of preventive measures in the form of detention. The maximum penalty for this crime is up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
