According to the investigation, the woman had to install a homemade explosive device (SVP) under the hood of a parked car. After law enforcement officers, doctors and rescuers arrived at the place, she had to activate the second explosive, masked nearby.
Investigators reported the detainee about the suspicion of the completed attempt on the terrorist act. She faces up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The day before, the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police established the circumstances of the explosions that occurred in Ivano-Frankivsk.
According to the investigation, Russian curators recruited teenagers through telegram channels. The teenagers had to install one of the explosive devices in the specified place, however, during the movement, the Russian intelligence service remotely activated both devices – one blasting occurred during movement and the other in the apartment where they prepared explosives.
As a result of the event, a 17-year-old guy was killed in place, his 15-year-old accomplice was hospitalized with serious injuries.
