“According to the case file, one of the malefactors was a 20-year-old resident of Odessa region. The invaders recruited him remotely through a telegram for finding “light money”. Then the agent was tasked with collecting the geolocation of Ukrainian checkpoints, mobile fire groups and anti-aircraft missile air defense complexes. In order to spy simultaneously for more objects, the traitor involved in the subversive activity of his familiar 15-year-old resident of the city of Voznesensk in Mykolaiv region. As the investigation was established, the persons involved by the area by both the southern regions and hidden locations of defense forces on the cameras of their phones. After the reconnaissance, the “senior” agent denoted the coordinates of potential goals on Google Cards and messenger sent them to his Russian curator, ”the message reads.
SBU staff documented this and detained the person from the Odessa region on the attempt to transfer reconnaissance data to the enemy, the special service is reported. The detainee seized a mobile phone through which he communicated with the Russian special service.
Investigators of the SBU reported the detainee of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law). The issue of additional qualification of the committed under Art. 304 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (involvement of minors in criminal activity).
