“As the investigation was established, the defendants were initially laid a homemade explosive device (SVP) under the car of a Ukrainian warrior, whom the occupiers hoped to liquidate remotely. To activate the SVP, Russian special services planned to call a mobile phone that was equipped with explosives. The SBU staff exposed the enemy intentions in advance and detained the executors of the Russian Federation when they equipped a hidden camera near the planned blast. The detainees were two unemployed residents of Kyiv region, who were recruited in telegrams for the search for “light money”,-the special service reports.
According to this report, women arrived in Vinnitsa, where “for the money of the Russian game they rented an apartment”, and later “they received a geolocation of a shroud from the curator and took away two SVPs.”
“According to the case file, the production of explosives was engaged in the third participant of the group-a 33-year-old resident. According to the instructions of the invaders, he laid the explosive in thermos and additionally stuffed them with screws. In the event of a military car with its owner, the agent had to prepare a new terrorist attack near the building of the local police department, ”the SBU reports.
The intelligence service adds that the detainees seized two SVPs and mobile phones with evidence of cooperation with the Russian GRU.
Investigators of the SBU reported three defendants about suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed in the conditions of martial law). The detainees are in custody, they are threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
