The SBU banned entry into Ukraine by a pro -Russian politician from Romania Diana Shohoake

The Security Service of Ukraine has made a decision on a three-year ban on entry into Ukraine for the chairman of the pro-Russian Romanian Party “SOS Romania” Diana Janovych-Schashoake, the SBU reported on March 17.

According to the intelligence service, Shohoake openly supports Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and spreads Kremlin propaganda in its public speeches in Romania and EU countries.

“The foreign politician writes letters of Putin, in which he praises a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation and calls for the seizure of our country. At the same time, Shoshoake calls on national sovereignty and internationally recognized borders of Ukraine, in particular in its western and southwestern regions, ”the report reads.

The SOS Romania Party is a far -right political force in Romania, headed by Diana Shohoake. The party is known for its pro -Russian positions and nationalist rhetoric. In March 2023, Shohoake filed a bill, which proposed to denounce the good neighborliness agreement with Ukraine and to annex part of the Ukrainian territories.

In October 2024, the Constitutional Court of Romania expelled Shoshoake from the presidential election.
