For Yevhen Borysov, the former military commissar of Odesa, a private company made the deposit, not his relatives. In total, UAH 100 million of collateral was transferred.
Tetyana Sapyan, communications adviser to the director of the State Bureau of Investigation, informed about this on TV.
“It was transferred on November 4, and these funds were contributed by a private enterprise. When we talk about the amount of the deposit, we must understand: it was not he personally paid it or his relatives. Unfortunately, I don’t have exact information about which company and the like. In total, more than UAH 100 million was deposited for the former military commissar,” she said.
Currently, Borisov is out on bail and is wearing an electronic bracelet. The SBI is investigating a total of four criminal cases, in each of which Borysov is a suspect and has been remanded in custody.
Sapyan explained that the long-term selection of a preventive measure in the case of voluntary abandonment of a part (SZCH) was related to the court schedule, motions and other reasons, but in the meantime, other preventive measures chosen in previous criminal proceedings were in effect.
According to the media, the funds were transferred by “Evagrain” LLC. The total amount of bails paid for Borisov in four criminal proceedings exceeded 100 million hryvnias. Deposits in the amount of UAH 36,364,000 and UAH 44,420,760 were previously paid.
Earlier, the Kyiv Court of Appeals made a decision to increase the amount of bail for Yevhen Borisov, the former head of the Odesa Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.
