Since the beginning of 2025, investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation have completed pre-trial investigations and sent more than 7,029 indictments against 7,511 people to court.

In November, this indicator increased significantly – in just one month, almost half a thousand new proceedings were additionally sent to the court.
The DBR emphasizes that such dynamics indicate a significant increase in work efficiency.
According to official data, in the previous report for October, there were more than 6,500 indictments, so the increase in November alone is significant.
The increase in the number of cases of the bureau is connected with the strengthening of work in key directions and improvement of investigation processes.
The department emphasizes that the priority is to bring every criminal proceeding to its logical conclusion – transfer to court.
Among the persons against whom indictments have already been sent to the court are category “A” officials, six People’s Deputies of Ukraine and five former members of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The list of defendants also includes 22 judges and 1,281 law enforcement officers from various departments. Officials who have the status of subjects of the SBI’s jurisdiction and previously often evaded responsibility are indicated separately.
In addition, indictments against 44 employees of tax authorities and 74 customs officers, who are suspected of abuses and corruption offenses, were sent to the court.
There are also 125 employees of the State Criminal Enforcement Service, 124 representatives of the State Forest Guard, and 58 employees of civil defense agencies and units.
Such a range of suspects demonstrates that the SBI systematically works with abuses at various levels of the civil service.
