The State Bureau of Investigation systematically identifies persons who betrayed Ukraine or collaborated with the enemy during a full-scale war. As of the beginning of November 2025, a total of 2,809 proceedings against national security were opened.

Among the latest results is a notice of suspicion to a former deputy of the Odesa City Council, involved in the events of May 2, 2014; sentences to collaborators from Kharkiv region and Kherson region; as well as the exposure of the inspector of the pre-trial detention center in the Mykolaiv region, who called on the Russians to kill Ukrainian soldiers.
The systematic work of the SBI helps bring to justice those who support the aggressor state or deliberately harm national security. The large number of proceedings and suspicions testifies to the scale of the checks and the priority of the investigations related to treason and collaboration during the war.
We will remind you that the Pechersk court of Kyiv extended the preventive measure in the form of detention for deputy Yevgeny Shevchenko, who is accused of high treason.
