Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation discovered a number of violations in the reserve battalions of the Armed Forces responsible for mobilization, training, rotation of personnel and reinforcement of combat units.

Inspections were carried out within the framework of tasks defined at the interdepartmental meeting in the President’s Office on January 10.
The purpose of the work, as noted in the SBI, is to help the command of the Armed Forces minimize any abuses and ensure the transparency of the mobilization system.
Regional divisions of the Bureau are instructed to continue active preventive actions to identify problems in the activities of reserve battalions and eliminate negative manifestations at all levels.
Working meetings with brigade commanders, military personnel, representatives of the Military Law and Order Service, the National Police and other law enforcement agencies are planned within the scope of these tasks.
During such meetings, the parties clarify the mechanisms of interdepartmental interaction and discuss ways to quickly resolve priority issues in reserve units.
