Details: According to the investigation, the family of the soldier, who was at the front for about six months, lost contact with him. He reported that “everything is fine” with the soldier, and explained the lack of communication by the impossibility of making contact.

Taking advantage of the emotional state of the family and its anxiety, the officer stated that for a bribe he could “arrange” the inclusion of the fighter in the rotation lists, referring to the allegedly existing connections. He wanted 9 thousand US dollars for his “services” and insisted on the urgent transfer of funds “under the Christmas tree”.

The transfer of money took place on January 1 in Dnipro. While receiving an illegal benefit, the person involved was detained.

The military serviceman was notified of suspicion of abuse of influence (Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides imprisonment for up to 5 years.

The SBI reports that the court arrested the suspect with the possibility of posting bail.

According to “Ukrainian Pravda”, as of January 6, the suspect has not paid a bail of 300,000.
