A new fake about the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, is spreading in the Russian Federation. Allegedly, he bought a villa on St. Bartholomew – the so-called “Island of billionaires”.
This was reported by the Center for Combating Disinformation (CCP).
As noted in the Center, information about the alleged purchase by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky of a “villa with an underground bunker” for 17 million euros, which is located on the “island of billionaires” St. Barthelemy, is nothing more than another fake of Russian propagandists.
“It is reported that the villa was allegedly bought by the Cypriot company Aldorante LTD, but there are no confirmations or proofs of this information,” states the Central Bureau of Investigation.
They emphasize that the “news” being distributed also does not contain any official documents or primary sources.
Saint-Barthélemy Island or “Island of Billionaires” is an overseas territory of France, which includes the island of Saint-Barthélemy and a number of nearby islands in the Caribbean Sea.
