“The Russians have taken advantage of transferring some of the means on the ice and now the task of Ukrainians is to knock them from there. Plus, they try to throw again on the river with the help of small fuel facilities, but this is, of course, a little happiness that they had before. That is why they now have some forces that they try to use, and Ukrainians, of course, try to return them for the river, ”he said on the national telephone.

Last week, the unsuccessful attempts of the Russian troops were reported to provide crossings across the Oskil River.

The Armed Forces are trying to eliminate the Russian so -called “bridgehead” on the bank of the Oskil River in Kharkiv region.

At the end of January, British intelligence noted that Russian troops had created a bridgehead on the western bank of the Oskil River in November 2024, and since then tactically advanced in the area.

Intelligence was also reported that Russia is “almost probably” trying to press on the Kupyansk logistics center, also located on the Oskil River, about 12 kilometers south of the bridgehead.

At the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russian force, Kupyansk was occupied. But in September 2022, the city was liberated from Russian troops.
