“Tonight, Russia has caused a massive shelling of the Ukrzaliznytsia depot in Odessa. The wreckage was a train driver. He is given all the necessary help.
There were also strikes on the railway infrastructure of border communities in the north, in particular in Konotop. Trains stopped at a safe distance from the area of the lesions, as of the morning – all continued movement, the contact network healed.
Due to the attack, some trains of Chernihiv and Sumy direction are delayed. We do our best to prevent even such massive attacks from stopping the Ukrainian transport arteries, ”the minister wrote.
Kuleba added that “Russia is trying to destroy one of the basics of Ukrainian stability every day – our infrastructure that holds the country together.”
According to the SES, not only a Ukrzaliznytsia employee was injured in Odessa, but also a resident of a private house.
“As a result of the hits, rescuers eliminated the fire that arose in the Ukrzaliznytsia depot. The roof and glazing of a private apartment building were also damaged. 13 pieces of equipment and 54 firefighters were involved from the SES, from the Association of Voluntary Firefighters of Ukraine – one unit of equipment and four personnel, from Ukrzaliznytsia – one fire train “, – rescuers inform.
Russian military regularly from various weapons – UAVs, missiles, booths, RSSUs – attacked Ukrainian regions.
The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.
Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
