As a result of the attack, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk region were injured, the air force was reported.
The strikes occurred after direct peace talks between Kiev and Moscow in Istanbul on May 16 – the first for almost three years – which did not bring significant progress except the agreement on the exchange of prisoners. Ukrainian officials have accused Russia of putting up “unacceptable” requirements.
