According to local sources, Russian Guard officers are conducting a tour of households where there are registered weapons and taking them away for the needs of the Russian army.
Hunters, in whose hands weapons are found, are forcibly handed documents for signature, which allegedly confirm the “voluntary transfer” of property.
In case of refusal, gun owners are threatened with criminal prosecution.
The occupiers pay special attention to smoothbore weapons and shot cartridges that can be used to destroy drones. Rifled firearms of caliber 7.62, 8.6 and 12.7 mm, which may be useful for the needs of the occupation forces, are also confiscated.
