- The following day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that Russian troops crossed the state border of Ukraine near the village of Grabovskoe in the Sumy region on the border with Russia and took more than 50 civilians from there. There, according to the HUK, “stabilization measures” are ongoing.
- President Volodymyr Zelenskyi claimed that Russian troops captured 52 civilians, including children, from the village of Grabovskoe in the Sumy region, and also captured 13 soldiers of the Defense Forces.
- According to the analytical project DeepState, a group of Ukrainian fighters who held the border area in the village of Grabovskoe, in the Sumy Oblast, was irresponsible in carrying out tasks, which led to the fact that the Russians entered there.
