The network is reportedly covered by information about allegedly “secret mobilization” in the territory of Sumy region 17-year-old teenagers from orphanages. In particular, it is said that children seem to be taken to training camps, so that they then, when they become adults, send them immediately to the front.
“This information is absolutely untrue and is part of a large -scale misinformation campaign of the enemy to discredit mobilization,” the CPD said.
The Center for Combating Misinformation also recalled that according to the current legislation, citizens aged 25 to 60 years are mobilization.
The head of the CPD, the officer of the Defense Forces of Ukraine Andriy Kovalenko noted that citizens up to 25 years can join the Armed Forces only voluntarily, signing a contract.
