The purchase of weapons, including UAVs, will be targeted at UAH 100 billion.

“By the end of the year, we will send an additional UAH 324.7 billion – today the government has approved changes to the state budget -2025,” she wrote in Telegram.
Of the UAH 324.7 billion, more than UAH 310 billion will receive a total fund, of which more than UAH 301 billion – the Ministry of Defense, in particular:
- UAH 202 billion – for the financial support of servicemen;
- UAH 100 billion – for the purchase of weapons, primarily UAVs of all types – in particular FPV on fiber fibers, drones -interceptors, dipstike -threads;
- UAH 8 billion – for other military expenditures (military transportation, fuel, operating expenses).
According to Sviridenko, the decision is dictated by the dynamics of the front and constantly changing conditions of hostilities.
“Russia is not going to stop, changes tactics on the front and only intensifies attacks on our energy infrastructure in the rear. We must be flexible and quickly adapt our expenses to give the army all the necessary means and resources of counteracting the enemy,” the Prime Minister said.
The main source of funding for increased expenditures is 6 billion euros from the European Union within the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA) initiative. There are also almost 30 billion UAH of additional budget revenues, debt savings and reduction of non -priority expenditures.
“So the purchase of drones will help finance frozen Russian assets. For this we are grateful to our EU partners and G7 countries,” Sviridenko summarized, adding that the next step is to vote for changes to the state budget.
