As reported in the press service of the Odesa regional prosecutor’s office, at night the armed forces of the Russian Federation struck with drones in Odesa and the region.

“The enemy cynically hit the residential sector and the port infrastructure once again. In particular, a residential building was damaged, an outbuilding was destroyed, and the monastery building was partially damaged,” the department said.

It is noted that three civilians were injured as a result of the enemy attack: 21-year-old, 67-year-old and 80-year-old men. One injured citizen was hospitalized.

An investigation has been launched into the facts of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, in Odesa, the Russian army struck an unmanned aerial vehicle in the port territory, as a result of which logistics elements were destroyed, hangars, a locomotive, and production buildings were damaged. A fire broke out. Emergency services and port workers are currently repairing the damage.

The regional headquarters of the State Emergency Service said that as a result of the hits, the building on the territory of the Holy Dormition Men’s Monastery was destroyed and subsequently caught fire. Warehouses, administrative buildings and cars were also damaged.

The work of the rescuers was complicated by repeated air alarm signals. Currently, all fires have been extinguished. 30 units of equipment and 106 rescuers were involved from the State Emergency Service.

As UNIAN was told by the law enforcement agencies, the 21-year-old boy was hospitalized in a moderate condition. The victim serves in the Holy Assumption Patriarchal Men’s Monastery, where one of the drones “arrived”.

In particular, the Belogorod community of the Kyiv region was affected, where a fire broke out in the roof and upper floor of a residential high-rise building. A man and a woman died, four more people sought medical help – a young woman and two children suffered an acute reaction to stress, a man was poisoned by combustion products.

Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa regions were also under attack. In Odesa, three people were injured – a 21-year-old boy received shrapnel injuries, a 67-year-old and an 80-year-old man – craniocerebral injuries and an acute reaction to stress.
