As stated in GUR, yesterday, January 31, officials of Slovakia during the press conference were charged with GUR, which allegedly servicemen of the “subordinate” GUR of Ukraine “of Ukraine” of the Georgian National Legion “were involved in the organization of protests in Slovakia in order to prepare for the coup.

Also, intelligence stressed that the person mentioned during the press conference is not a Ukrainian serviceman, is not related to Ukrainian intelligence, receives no tasks or GUR tasks or orders.
The GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine strongly rejects false accusations of organizing misconduct in the Slovak Republic. Yesterday, January 31, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo accused the Georgian Legion and his leader Mamuk Mammulakvili in involvement in public protests in Slovakia.
It should be noted that GUR also emphasized that the Mammlashvili contract with the International Legion of GUR stopped in April 2023 and did not renew it.
During the press conference, Fitzo said that representatives of the political opposition, as well as organizers of public protests in the Mir Association for Ukraine, have a connection with the Georgian Legion.
“How is it possible that the Georgian Legion representatives were active in Kiev in 2014 during the Maidan? I ask how possible that they were active in Tbilisi, where some of them even face charges and persecution for crimes?” , – Fitzo said.
Fitzo also presented photos that should prove the ligaments of the Legion and his leader with Slovakia.

Ukraine has protested Slovakia’s ambassador because of Fitzo’s statements about interference in internal affairs. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Bratislava to stop relaying Kremlin rhetoric and return to constructive dialogue.
