The President of Kyrgyzstan has appointed 64-year-old Adilbek Kasymaliyev as the head of the Cabinet of Ministers and acting Prime Minister.
It should be noted that Akilbek Japarov was pressured to resign after the recent arrest of high-ranking tax officials on charges of corruption.
Akilbek Japarov, 60, headed the cabinet from 2021, setting a record as the longest-serving Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan.
