He announced this on his Facebook page.

According to Pashinyan, on December 23 he received a positive test for the coronavirus, so he was forced to isolate himself and work from home. At the same time, on December 25, the test turned out to be negative, after which the politician returned to his usual work schedule.

“However, after consulting with my colleagues, I will not participate in the informal summit of the leaders of the CIS countries, which will take place today in St. Petersburg,” the Prime Minister of Armenia said.

In turn, Pashinyan emphasized that by the end of the day he will make a decision on whether he will participate in the meeting of the Supreme Economic Council of the Eurasian Economic Union, which will take place on December 26.

Armenia and Russia – the latest newsEarlier, the Russian mass media claimed that Armenia transferred almost all of its air defense systems to Ukraine, namely the S-300, Buk, Tor, and Osa air defense systems. At the same time, experts believe that such information is only an assumption, and the message about the transfer of “almost all air defense” looks rather strange, looking at the difficult situation of Armenia itself.

Politico, in turn, wrote that Armenia will withdraw from the military alliance with Russia, that is, the CSTO, due to the growing tension in the country’s relations with the Russian Federation.

“It turned out that the members of the alliance are not fulfilling their contractual obligations, but are planning a war against us and Azerbaijan,” Pashinyan emphasized.
