As the British tabloid The Telegraph writes, the starting price for the opening match is $370, the most expensive ticket can be found for $1,800. At the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the cheapest ticket for the opening match could be bought for just $55, with the most expensive costing fans just over $600.
Tickets for the final game of the tournament next year will be available at exorbitant prices. The cheapest ticket will cost fans $2,000. According to the publication, the average ticket price will be almost $4,000.
Earlier, 21 national teams issued tickets for the 2026 World Cup. Three national teams guaranteed themselves participation in the tournament as organizers. The last World Cup was won by the Argentine national team. In the final of the tournament, Lionel Messi’s team met with the French national team and won a crazy match in a penalty shootout – 4:2 (3:3).
