In an urgent address, the President of Ukraine stated that the country is going through one of the most difficult moments since the beginning of the full-scale war.
According to him, Ukraine faces an extremely difficult choice: the risk of losing a key partner, the threat of losing dignity, the prospect of accepting difficult conditions or a very hard winter.
The head of state emphasized that Ukraine is under the strongest pressure of all time. He emphasized that “on February 24, we did not betray Ukraine – and we will not betray it now”, and called on society to gather, stop internal conflicts and act unitedly, clearly understanding who is the real enemy.
The president noted that Ukraine will continue a calm and constructive dialogue with the US and other partners, will offer alternatives, but will not give Russia grounds to claim that Kyiv allegedly “does not want peace.”
He warned that the next week will be difficult and full of events, because the enemy does not stop the pressure. The president also reminded that the front stretches for thousands of kilometers, and Ukrainians live under shelling every day, and emphasized: society wants the end of the war, but now patience and unity are needed.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and US President Donald Trump will discuss the 28-point American peace plan next week.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Johann Wadeful, said that the “peace plan” proposed by the US for Ukraine is not final.
Ukraine and Europe cannot ignore the “peace plan” of the Donald Trump administration, which consists of 28 points. According to experts, this plan actually reflects Russian demands and involves significant concessions from Kyiv.
At this stage, it is important cooperation between Ukraine and the USA, which aims to conclude an agreement on peace and security. After the meeting with the US delegation, Zelensky will discuss the draft peace plan, which may significantly affect the further actions of Kyiv and its international relations.
