The President of Ukraine published new details of communication between captured North Korean soldiers and SBU investigators. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the intelligence confirming the movement of the North Korean military to the territory of Russia, as well as their training and information isolation, is confirmed by the testimonies of the prisoners.
“We continue the investigation and establish all the facts regarding North Korea’s participation in this conflict,” the President noted.
The prisoner says that there were several North Korean soldiers who were trained in the use of heavy Russian weapons.
He said that he served in the reconnaissance battalion. According to him, there were more than 100 people on the ship on which the North Korean military sailed to Russia.
“It was probably a Russian ferry, but not a military one, but simply for the transportation of goods. There were only people, no cargo,” said the prisoner, adding that later the North Koreans were taken by train through the territory of the Russian Federation.
The prisoner added that he did not know that he would fight on the side of Russia against Ukraine. He participated in hostilities from January 3.
