The Premier League reacted to the referee’s work. He showed 16 yellow cards per match

One of the top referees of the Premier League, Anthony Taylor, did not receive an appointment from the league for the new round of the English championship after working in the match between Bournemouth and Chelsea last weekend.

The referee set a record for the elite division, showing 16 yellow cards (and none of them red) – Taylor issued 14 warnings to the players and a card to the head coaches.

After the game, the referee faced insults and ridicule in the net from fans of both teams.

The 4th round of the Premier League became a record in the history of the championship for the number of yellow cards in all matches – 65.
