In his Facebook post, he stated that the year of braking the legislative process by the opposition could cost Ukraine the chances of buying reactors.
“The policies of” European solidarity “and other useful idiots into the agreement were blocked for almost a year by the adoption of the law for almost a year. They were drawn time, frankly lied and discredited by nuclear energy,” Gladkikh wrote.
During this time, he said, in Bulgaria, the government has changed, which complicated negotiations. As a result, a crucial project was threatened with disruption.
It is about the completion of two power units with a capacity of 2.2 GW, which could cover the energy deficit and prevent tariffs for the population. Smooth emphasizes that 80% of Ukrainians supported the project.
“So, if the negotiations are breaking, these are the imperfect opposition to the fact that Ukraine may not receive the necessary reactors. On their conscience – there will be a loss of 2.2 GW of reliable nuclear power,” he added.
The political scientist urged voters not to forget who had “torpedo” the possibility of strengthening the country’s energy independence.
