Thus, the day before, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radoslaw Sikorski, said that the Polish government cannot guarantee the unhindered flight of the plane with Putin to the meeting with Trump in Hungary, if the route of this flight passes through Polish airspace.
“I cannot guarantee that an independent Polish court will not order the government to accompany such a plane to hand over the suspect to The Hague,” Sikorsky said.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Péter Szijártó, reacted to this statement. In the X social network, he retweeted the news with a quote from Sikorsky and accompanied it with the following comment:
“Is Radoslav Sikorsky talking about an independent court that refused to extradite the terrorist who blew up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline at the behest of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk?”
Sikorsky did not ignore the comment of his Hungarian colleague. He said that he was proud of the decision of the Polish court, which ruled that sabotage against the aggressor’s facilities is not a crime.
“Furthermore, I hope that your brave compatriot, Major Magyar, will finally be able to disable the oil pipeline that feeds Putin’s military machine, and you will get your oil through Croatia,” the Polish diplomat wrote in the comments under Szijjártó’s statement.
Naftogin “Druzhba” and “Magyar”As UNIAN wrote, during August, Ukraine made several strikes on the Druzhba tanker, which supplies cheap oil from Russia to the pro-Russian governments of Hungary and Slovakia. After that, both countries began to threaten Kyiv with cutting off gas and electricity supplies in the winter.
In early September, Putin publicly ordered Slovakia and Hungary to begin an energy blockade of Ukraine.
In addition, Hungary imposed sanctions against the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, for the strikes on the “Druzhba”. As you know, he is a native of Transcarpathia and an ethnic Hungarian by origin.
Already in October, Russia declared “Magyar” wanted for an article on terrorism.
