“The Council of Ministers is working on a decision that regulates the issue of assistance to all foreigners in Poland,” the spokesman said.
The change to the law on assistance to citizens of Ukraine in connection with the war envisaged the continuation of temporary protection granted to Ukrainians who fled from the war until March 4, 2026. The change is the result of the decision of the EU Council of June 25, 2024.

He proposed a new bill that limits assistance to Ukrainians provides access to services and health care only for those citizens who work and pay contributions in Poland.
Also, Navrotsky announced a legislative initiative, which in the Criminal Code of Poland equals the “Bandera symbol” to the Nazi and communist symbols.
