As the press service of the Kyiv region police reports, during the monitoring of the Internet, information was found regarding the insulting of the state symbol near one of the religious buildings.
Law enforcement officers establish all the circumstances, including the person involved in the commission of the criminal offense and possible witnesses of the specified event. A pre-trial investigation was launched into the fact of insulting the state symbol (Part 1 of Article 338 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Earlier, in one of the local groups on Facebook, a relevant video was published with the comment – “broke the flag of Ukraine and threw it on the ground: an unknown man committed an act of desecration of the state symbol on the territory of the Savior and Transfiguration Cathedral.”
