The police are investigating the beating of a law enforcement officer by employees of the TCC in Odesa

In Odesa, servicemen of the regional territorial recruitment center attacked a policeman, the National Police reported on November 18.

According to the investigation, a few days ago a police district officer brought a man who violated the rules of military registration to one of the departments of the Odesa RTCC and SP.

“Currently, it has been established that three servicemen, one of whom was in a state of alcohol intoxication, in the RTCC and SP began to show aggression towards the policeman, utter obscenities, and when he made a remark to them, they started a fight,” the report says.

The police add that criminal proceedings have been opened for the fact that a law enforcement officer was injured in the performance of official duties. The extras were informed of the suspicion and detained, in case of a guilty verdict they face up to five years in prison. The investigation is ongoing, the police added.

After the start of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, martial law was introduced and general mobilization was announced.
