It is noted that in order to recruit residents of the regions of Ukraine temporarily under the control of the Russian occupiers into the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the enemy, who violates international law, conducts both agitation of its ideological supporters and uses methods of intimidation, incriminating the locals for various “offences”.
Also, the occupiers traditionally assure that those mobilized into the Russian army will not be sent to the battle line, but practice shows that this is not true.
The Central Security Service claims that even such methods did not help the Russians to fulfill their plans for 2024 for 10,000 “contract workers” from among the residents of the occupied territories of Ukraine.
The situation in the Southern Military District (Kherson and Zaporizhia regions) was particularly catastrophic, where mobilization plans were disrupted by more than 50%.
