The People’s Deputy Yevgeny Shevchenko (Group “Restoration of Ukraine”) was declared a second suspicion of treason for pro -Russian behavior during a full -scale invasion. The deputy is in Ukraine, the suspicion was presented personally. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

-According to the investigation, the People’s Deputy systematically in his speeches and interviews publicly distributed narratives of the aggressor state. By distributing specially selected information and using different forms of manipulation, it He voiced the distorted facts about the external and internal political course of Ukraine, influencing the consciousness and opinion of citizens, – the statement reads.

Shevchenko distorted facts and events in his speeches and posts, creating information for anti -Ukrainian and anti -Western sentiment.

The DBR specified that Shevchenko also traveled to Belarus, where he met with representatives of business, politics and self -proclaimed President of the country Oleksandr Lukashenko. Referring to these meetings, he disseminated false information about the absence of the threat of Russian troops from the territory of Belarus.
