“We still have about $2 billion left in the USAI (Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative) that we can use. So you’ll continue to see packages roll out over the coming weeks until the end of this administration. This is in line with how we have done it in the past. That’s something we’ve been doing pretty regularly — almost every week,” Deputy Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said at a briefing.
She said the Defense Department also has about $4 billion left over from previously committed PDAs, which the president has told Congress he will spend or use before the end of his term.
