The Pechersk District Court of the city of Kyiv decided to arrest Gennady Bogolyubov, who, according to the sources of “Ukrainian Pravda”, left Ukraine in June 2024 using forged documents.
“Choose the suspect Bogolyubov Gennadiy Borysovych, born on January 20, 1962… a preventive measure in the form of detention,” says the court ruling, which is at the disposal of “Ukrainian Pravda”.
“After the detention of Gennadiy Borisovich Bogolyubov, born on January 20, 1962, no later than 48 hours from the time of delivery to the place of criminal proceedings, ensure his delivery to the investigating judge of the Pechersk District Court. Kyiv to resolve the issue of applying the selected preventive measure in the form of detention or changing it to a milder preventive measure,” the message reads.

It will be recalled that on July 7 it became known that Gennadiy Bogolyubov illegally left Ukraine using forged documents on the night of June 24 by train from Kyiv to Chelm. Sources cited the fact that the Bureau of Economic Security is preparing a suspicion against him in the case of “Privatbank” as the reason for his escape.
