The Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the Project of the Decree on the recognition of North Korea by the aggressor state.
About it reports the People’s Deputy Alexei Goncharenko.
The decision provides for the appeal to international organizations, calling for sanctions against Pyongyan. The next stage will be a vote in parliament, which will determine the final position of Ukraine on the status of DPRK.
The bill was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada in May this year after confirming the facts of the North Korean military in the war against Ukraine.
Parliamentarians propose to contact the UN, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament to recognize the DPRK by the aggressor at the international level. The document also contains a call to strengthen the sanction pressure on Kim Jong -in mode.
According to analytical data, North Korea’s involvement in Russian aggression has brought its economy more than $ 20 billion in profit. Pyongyang received an additional $ 630 million from the transfer of military technologies and 280 million from the provision of labor.
These funds allow the DPRK to purchase even more high -tech weapons for further use against Ukraine.
North Korea has officially confirmed the direction of its military to Russia to participate in hostilities. DPRK leader Kim Jong -in called this participation “justified” and declared the exercise of sovereign rights to defend the “brotherly nation”.
According to the latest data, Pyongyang plans to send 6,000 people to Russia to mine and restore the Kursk region.
We will remind, the Verkhovna Rada approved changes to the law, which guarantee servicemen the right to receive monetary compensation for all unused days of annual basic and additional leave in the event of dismissal from service during martial law.
We also reported that satellite images showed that the DPRK was built a new shop within its main nuclear complex of Jonben. It can be an additional Uranium enrichment object to strengthen the country’s potential for nuclear weapons production.
