The outsider of the First League of Ukraine held negotiations with the ex-player of Werder

Former football player of the German “Werder” and defender of the U-20 national team of Ukraine Ivan Yermachkov can continue his career in the First League. This was reported by UA-Football.

The 20-year-old player is interested in “Fenix-Mariupol”, which occupies the 14th place in the standings of the second strongest division and continues to fight for survival.

According to the source, sports director Bohdan Kogut held talks with Yermachkov regarding potential cooperation. If the parties can agree on the terms of the contract, then the defender will join the team of Maksym Feschuk, who came out of vacation on January 21.

Yermachkov started his career in “Kolos” from Kovalivka, in 2022 he moved to the German “Wuppertal”. In July 2024, he signed a contract with Werder Bremen, but spent most of the season with Viktoria Berlin, where he played on loan.

He spent the last six months in the structure of the Cherkasy National Football League, but he never went on the field. He has been a free agent since January 16.

He played six matches for the U-19 national team of Ukraine (one goal), was included in the application of the “blue-yellow” U-20 and U-21 teams.
