The new contract of the specialist is calculated until 2028. The parties did not disclose the terms of the contract.
“After we have already written one good story, we can consider writing another similar story as a new project. The important thing is that we can go to the 2026 World Cup, and I want to be a part of that. I feel happy in Georgia and there is no reason to change anything. The Georgian national team is already a team to be reckoned with and we need to work harder to continue to raise our level, which was accepted not only by the team but also by the whole country last summer,” Sagnol said.
The Georgian national team has six points and second place in Group B.
