Olympic champion (2016) from France Tony Yoka (14–3, 11 KOs) announced on social media that he has signed a contract to fight WBC interim heavyweight titleholder Agit Kabayel (26–0, 18 KOs).

“Agit Kabayel, you wanted to meet me in the ring, didn’t you? Your team sent me the contract, I signed it. Let’s do it,” Yoka wrote.

The fight between the Frenchman and Agit will take place on January 10, 2026 at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen, which can accommodate 13,000 spectators. The organizer of the show will be the influential British promoter Frank Warren and his company Queensberry Promotions.

Yoka was considered a very promising boxer, but his career went downhill in 2022, when the Frenchman lost three fights in a row – to Martin Bacole, Carlos Takam and Riyad Merhi.

After that failure, Tony managed to improve his position and won three victories, but the opponents were not very famous boxers.

OFFICIALLY. The super heavyweight world champion will fight in Germany
