In occupied Mariupol, land is given to Russian developers. So far, almost 65,000 square meters of territory have been transferred to five organizations without an auction. This is reported by the Mariupol City Council, writes UNN.

“The leader of the so-called “DNR” Pushilin signed an order on the allocation of land plots to construction companies in Mariupol. Five organizations were given almost 65,000 square meters of territory without an auction for the construction of houses under mortgage,” the city council reports.

In particular, the main part of the transferred territories is located in the Central district, as well as land plots in the Left Bank district. Apartments in new buildings are planned to be sold to Russians, due to the fact that local residents do not have the funds to purchase property. So in this way Mariupol is being Russified.

“At the same time, thousands of families from Mariupol have been on the streets for three years, because their houses have been demolished. The Russian occupiers have stopped the compensatory housing program. People are going to rallies, but now they are trying to calm them down with promises to return the stolen apartments of Mariupol residents who left the city to escape shelling and persecution,” the message reads.

We will remind

The occupying authorities of Mariupol are trying to take apartments from local residents, declaring them “homeless”. Due to the lack of documents and the delay in the inheritance process, the people of Mariupol risk losing their homes.
