Since the beginning of the day, as of 22:00, November 3, 160 combat clashes have been recorded on the front line. Enemy forces concentrated their main efforts in the direction of Pokrovsk and Kurakhovo.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On this day, the aggressor country launched one missile attack, carried out 62 airstrikes and dropped 84 corrected aerial bombs. In addition, the occupiers used 582 kamikaze drones and carried out more than 3,500 artillery strikes on the positions of the Armed Forces and peaceful settlements.
On Kharkivskyi direction, Russian troops tried four times to storm the positions of Ukrainian units near Vovchansk and dropped bombs on Muravskyi, Kovaliv and Zrubanka districts.
On Kupiansky direction there were 16 attacks. Near the settlements of Golubivka, Sinkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolesnivikka, Berestovka, Zagryzovka, Kruglyakivka, Vyshneve and Pervomaiske, defenders of Ukraine repulsed ten assaults, fighting continues in six places.
On Lymansky direction, Russian troops carried out nine attacks in the Grekivka, Terna and Dibrova districts.
In the area of Toretsk and near Shcherbinivka, the enemy tried four times to improve their positions, at the same time carrying out airstrikes on the settlements of Druzhba, Toretsk and Petrivka.
On Pokrovsky direction, the aggressor carried out 27 attacks during the day in Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Lucha, Sukhoi Yar, Novogrodivka, and Vyshnevoye districts. Four fights are still going on here.
According to preliminary data, enemy losses in the Pokrovsky direction amounted to 213 killed and wounded. An artillery system, armored combat vehicles and three vehicles were destroyed, as well as damage to four artillery installations and one tank.
On Kurakhivskyi direction, 72 attacks were recorded, of which 14 are ongoing. Battles mostly take place near Novoselydivka, Vovchenka, Kreminnaya Balka, Antonivka, and Katerynivka.
On Vremivskyi direction, the enemy attacked the forward positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eleven times in the Trudovoy area, two clashes are still ongoing.
On Prydniprovskyi the enemy tried to attack three times in that direction, but without success.
Ukrainian forces continue the operation on Kursk direction
“We especially note the heroism of the fighters of the 10th mining and assault brigade “Edelweiss”, the 35th separate marine infantry brigade named after Rear Admiral Ostrogradskyi and the 54th separate mechanized brigade named after Hetman Mazepa, who hold their positions and inflict serious losses on the enemy,” reads in the report of the General Staff.
