Russian troops have changed their tactics in the Pokrovsky direction and are trying to bypass the city from the south to the west in order to reach the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Ukrainian Pravda writes about this with reference to the military, including the commander of the 108th separate mechanized battalion of Vovka Da Vinci Serhii Filimonov.
Russian forces are moving towards the settlements of Kotlyne and Udachne, located along the Mezhova-Pokrovsk highway.
According to the Ukrainian DeepState analysts, the Russians have less than two kilometers left to these points, and according to the UP, less than a kilometer.
Blocking this route disrupts a key logistical connection between the Dnipropetrovsk region and Pokrovsk.
The distance from the Russian front in the area of Kotlyny and Udachny to the border of Dnipropetrovsk region is only seven kilometers.
