The object of the transport infrastructure was damaged due to the attack of the Russian Federation in Odesa region – the authorities

On the night of November 13, the Russian military attacked Odesa with attack drones, as a result of which a fire broke out at a transport infrastructure facility, the State Emergency Service reported.

The regional prosecutor’s office specified that Russian forces attacked the city of Artsyz in the Bolgrad district of Odesa with attack drones.

“Due to enemy shelling, a critical infrastructure facility, an administrative building and repair shops were damaged,” the report says.

Oleg Kiper, the head of the regional military administration, noted that the roof of the railway repair shop was destroyed as a result of the explosion.

“Fortunately, there was no information about the dead or injured. Rescuers continue to work at the scene. Law enforcement officers are recording the traces of another crime,” he said.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
