“According to the investigation, on the night of October 21, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out airstrikes on Kharkiv. Hitting on the territory of the private sector was recorded in the Industrial District. Residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged. Eight women and three men had an acute stress reaction. Another strike was recorded on the territory of a civilian enterprise. The property of business entities was damaged in the Nemyshlyan district,” the message reads.
The prosecutor’s office noted that, according to preliminary investigation data, the Russian military used at least four aviation munitions to attack Kharkiv, their type is being determined.
For his part, the mayor of the city Igor Terekhov said that on the night of October 21, the Russian military hit Kharkiv with six anti-aircraft guns. Oleg Sinegubov, the head of OVA, said that at least 14 private houses and civilian enterprises were damaged as a result of the strike.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
