As Brigadier General of Justice Serhiy Melnyk said, a decision has been made to strengthen the training of Ukrainian cadet pilots. As part of the new program, the number of training flights will increase and the geography of training will expand, which will allow training more highly qualified pilots.
In particular, basic flight training for cadets of the Kharkiv National Air Force University will take place at an intensive pace. This is aimed at allowing graduates to move more quickly to training on modern military aircraft, including Western models.
“The basic training program must be optimized. This will give us the opportunity to train more pilots to protect our country. Ukrainian combat aircraft should eventually gain air superiority. After all, this opens the way to the success of our actions at the front in general,” Melnyk said.
