“The next target is Europe” – the head of the special service of the Czech Republic on the plans of the Russian Federation in the event of the defeat of Ukraine

Significant concessions by Kyiv or the defeat of Ukraine will stimulate Russia to new expansion plans, according to the head of the Information Security Service of the Czech Republic, Michal Kudelka.

“Maybe Russia will spend the next 10-15 years recovering from huge human and economic losses and preparing for its next target, which is Central and Eastern Europe,” Kudelka was quoted as saying by Bloomberg on November 26.

“If Ukraine loses or is forced to agree to a bad peace agreement, then Russia will take it as a victory,” he said.

Michal Kudelka reminded that international law requires Russia to withdraw all troops from Ukraine, return the occupied territories and pay reparations.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, reacting last week to the Russian attack on the Dnipro River with the use of a new ballistic missile, called to stop the Russian leader Volodymyr Putin.

“He is testing you, dear partners… He must be stopped. If there is no strong reaction to Russia’s actions, then they see that it is possible. This is what Putin is doing. It is necessary for Putin to feel the cost of his sick ambitions,” said the head of the Ukrainian state.

After the strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Western long-range missiles on the territory of the Russian Federation, Putin declared on November 21 that Moscow has the right to use weapons against the military facilities of those countries that use their weapons against Russian facilities. He claims that the test of the Oreshnik missile system (according to him, it was with this missile that the Russian forces struck the Dnipro) is being conducted as a “response to the aggressive actions of NATO countries against Russia.”
