Oksana Zholnovich reminded that the largest payments are used by restrictive coefficients.

“This decision applies only to very large pensions and does not affect the insurance part that a person has made with their contributions. It is important: these restrictions do not apply to the military who participated in the fighting and the pensions of families of fallen defenders,” – said the Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich in an interview with the publication.
According to her, this decision was made to make the system fairer and reduce the gap between pensions assigned under special laws and general rules.
“Already in January, it has made it possible to reduce the burden on the Pension Fund by almost 120 million hryvnias, and in a year we will get a resource of more than one billion hryvnias. These funds will go to fulfill obligations to all pensioners,” the official said.
At the same time, she indicated that now the largest pension in Ukraine is 51 042 hryvnia.
