“The number of patrols that will be on duty has been increased, including at night,” the department emphasized.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs says that the main tasks of police officers are: maintenance of public order, prevention of theft and other crimes; prevention of threats to people and objects of critical infrastructure. Also, the police warns of an air alarm in case stationary systems do not work due to a long-term lack of electricity.
“At the same time, we ask you not to leave the house at night without an urgent need and to carry identification documents with you,” urged the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that it is strictly forbidden to take photos and videos of air defense operations, critical infrastructure facilities, military facilities, as well as other places important for ensuring security.
“Espionage, collaborationism, assistance to the aggressor state, as well as photo/video recording and unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement of military personnel, weapons and equipment can be punished by imprisonment from 3 to 15 years – depending on the legal qualification in accordance with the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized.

According to the Ministry of Energy, as of December 12, since the beginning of 2025, the Russian military has attacked the energy infrastructure of Ukraine 4,500 times, and with the beginning of autumn, these attacks have intensified.
After the last massive attacks by the Russian Federation, the energy system of Ukraine is under a state of emergency, the most difficult situation is in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. After the Russian strike on January 9, emergency shutdowns continue. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said that this Russian attack was the most painful for the city’s critical infrastructure. He emphasized that the situation is the most difficult in four years.
